Generally the idea of owning a wild animal like this is something that should be frowned upon, but hearing the back story and seeing that this Puma clearly is loving his humans and his life, it’s a RARE exception. Congrats on being one of the few, if only, human who have a big cat as a pet and it be acceptable.

If you actually think that Messi may be merely "tolerating" Sasha and Masha, and his surroundings, then you are completely ignorant of his life with them and his unconditional love for them. And they are Not Messi's "owners". They are his "Mom and Dad" every bit as much as if he were their child. If you had been following his life with them for the past five years, you would have known all of that.

I absolutely love this family and the way they take care of their cat. I would love to go where they are and have been teach me how they raised this cat to be so loving and trained. I want to be able to help 11 days it needs the help like they did. I just find it so hard to believe that he lays there and lets them wash his feet when he goes outside that is just absolutely amazing to me. Outstanding

It's rare to see a cat of any kind that cooperative and "well trained". Watching it patiently sit to get suited up for a walk and bath was something I'd expect dogs to do but is rare even for professionally trained cats

@@advayaloni9523 Yeah, he had a bunch of medical complications when growing up, it was pretty sad, but now he is a healthy puma, just half the size of a regular puma. That's why he can't be released into the wild though, but he's living a very happy life now.

TheDinoNugget I own both. My dog is also very obedient. I just know many people who own dogs that do not listen, and domesticated cats obviously don’t listen to hardly any human commands, if any at all. Was just surprising how obedient it was. & Go take a shower, you’re probably smelling yourself

This guy walking a Puma on a leash is amazing, but I would be angry beyond belief if he showed up at the park with it on a leash. No way he could restrain it if it got riled enough to ignore him and his training. Kind of like the young females who bring their "boopsie oopsie" pit bull to the dog park on a flimsy leash. Oh, gee thanks lady for bringing your "baby" bred to kill other dogs to the dog park with a leash that is not strong enough to restrain it even if you yourself were. But baby is so gentle at home! I am sure that my little woogums pit bull will ignore its breed instincts to kill other dogs at the dog park just like how Labrador retrievers don't get excited when near a lake or how border collies won't become alert when near sheep or how huskies won't pull hard on a leash when on a walk. Besides my excellent care and expert training where I daily have woogums sit on the sofa next to me while I smoke pot and watch television has trained all those nasty stereotypes right out of him to the point that if anyone doesn't like or trust pit bulls or other dangerous animals they are just a bad person!

Thank you for your video's, how cool and how lucky you must feel. Quite a treat having a loving relationship with a wild animal like a puma. It's a lot of work I'm sure.
