Gerda was so adorably cute how she just sort of tipped over, rolled on the grass and showed her belly--so obviously wanting to play. It's amazing how similar to domestic cats these big cats can act sometimes. My Maine Coon now watches this channel with me with great interest.

Great job! I love your videos of your beautiful cats! I can tell you really love them and they love you and that they are so well cared for. Thank you for going so slow and being patient introducing Gerda and Messi. Even small house cats can take so very long to introduce. It took months for my house cats to tolerate one another, first we separated them with a door and they and they would growl and hiss but stick their paws under the door and start to play by hitting each others paws. After about a month of that we tried to introduce again and there was some stalking, hiding and rough play so we only allowed a few minutes at a time because the female would get agitated easily and we wanted to keep every interaction positive to avoid any negative feelings toward one another. After about three months they were able to tolerate eachother all day and would chase one another. Cats play tough so sometimes I thought it was start of fighting but it was just rough play. Now six months later they adore eachother and they groom eachother and lick and sleep within inches of one another. You are dealing with two very big cats so I know it is much different than my domesticated house cats but my point is, I love that you respect both of their boundaries and are not forcing interaction too quickly. I’m sure one day they will be the best of friends because you are going slow and steady with them meeting eachother

These animals are so beautiful. Even though they are both big cats, they are built so entirely different. The cheetah is built for speed, where as the puma is built for power. I will definitely continue to watch these 2 come together and be friends.
