Yes. And it’s their livelihood too. They love animals and are gifted in caring for them. Cats mesmerize me. They’re so cool and unpredictable. My last three lived to be 16+ years.✌️🐈

Gato Girl, the original flooring buckled badly, so since they had to redo the flooring/decking, it was probably just easier to plan out and rebuild the whole thing in the summer with all of the “amenities” they wanted, like the the platform areas. Since it was originally put together very quickly in the middle of winter, not the ideal building season, it was not well thought out and not how they truly would have liked it for Ichel. Whatever new family member they get will definitely enjoy these deluxe accommodations, even though Ichel couldn’t. I’m sure this was lovingly planned and executed in her memory.

Possibly that is one of the reasons, but the original wood decking was buckling from water. They also redesigned foundation for outside cage deck for water issues also I believe.

I like the seared wave pattern on the wood. Applause for the craftsman! The hanging platforms would be nice suspended from a pergola in the yard with outdoor cushions and a fire-pit in the middle.
