There were cougars/pumas in Lassie films... But, they were always portrayed as threats and villains... In real life, cougars/pumas are frightened off by humans creating noise... But, they do pose a threat to livestock... And, the cougars/pumas who appeared in THE TV shows and movies were very well trained to portray that image... Here's a fun fact... The Mercury car brand had a model called the " Cougar " and used a real cougar during the ads and at the ending of the ads where the viewer was invited to look for the " Sign of the Cat" where the cougar was sitting on top of the Lincoln Mercury dealer sign and would snarl... I remember reading that his name was " Chauncey "....😉🙂 And Mercury's version of the Ford Pinto was called the " Bobcat "...🙂 Buick also had a model called the "Wildcat"...

Hi hi!!! I posted above, but here you are! I'm also glad they did it in a small VIP theatre - was worried about the noise of a regular theatre, and all the lights and camera flashes. How adorable was this video? Sasha called Messi "you big moose" when Messi refused to go by himself and asked to be picked up. Maks will translate today, and I will do the same tomorrow. Pet cougars are supposed to be very skittish but I think he likes being the center of attention! He seemed very calm, ears forward and relaxed, not turning his head when people pet him or shrinking his back. I think it's a must that this cougar breeds and passes down his genes, the future needs puma housecat, lmao!

What a wonderful experience thank you for sharing. Messi is phenomenal I watch many many animal, reptiles, insects, etc. on KZbin all over the World from individuals, sanctuaries, zoos, rescues, etc. and I’ve never seen anything like Messi and your relationship. This is very unique and a blessing it takes special people to work and develop this kind of bond. Being out in a busy theatre with so many people, posing for pictures, being petted, out of his element, and sitting through approximately 1 1/2 hour movie in the dark with flashing lights that takes a lot of trust and special bond. 😻🤗🥰💙🙏💙

А я думаю, он такой потому, что обласкан до предела...хотя скорее до беспредела )))))) Попробуй вырасти агрессивным или хотя бы недружелюбным в среде, где тебя заглаживают до дыр и зацеловывают до изнеможения - я имею ввиду, Месиного изнеможения ))) Смотрела видики на Bob-cat сайте - там отмосфера и отношение к пуме Бобу несколько иные...мммм...сравнительно суровые; думаю, оттого он и ведёт себя больше, как дикий пума. Но это и понятно: у хозяйки кроме Боба хватает за кем присматривать, эмоций на ласку уже не хватает, к сожалению для всех...

Two things about this channel never cease to amaze me: -Messi is calmer and better-behaved than 99% of dogs! I wish he could teach Ichel the cheetah to take on such an attitude! -Russia is a completely modern Western country. How are you able to take Messi to all these public places? In this regard, you seem to have more freedom than most places in the US!

Interesting question. At first I wanted to joke that since you don't protest against the government you can do whatever you wish. But the problem is deeper in different understanding of freedom and attitude to the law. In this particular case, the law doesn't determine whether puma is domestic or not. Or may be it does, I don't know and nobody does even the police if they happen to be around:D

Keep in mind that the U.S. has a litigious system which pretty much prohibits any activity with animals in public which could hold the owner liable for serious damages even for the slightest of misbehaviors or god forbid, physical harm. Too many opportunistic lawyers seeking the big payday . Too bad in that watching Messi as a goodwill ambasssador has been an absolute delight but realistically could not happen in the U.S.

Oh my Goodness. How adorable is this? Sasha called Messi "you big moose" when Messi refused to go by himself and asked to be picked up. I'm glad they did it in a small VIP theatre - was worried about the noise of a regular theatre. Maks will translate today, and I will do the same tomorrow. Happy Friday, everyone!!! Дизлайки не все ставят намеренно. Например, родители дают планшет маленьким детям, а те пальчиком не туда попадают (мелкая моторика еще не развита).

I was thinking the same thing. It's about love on how an animal turns out. So many Americans are watching these videos and loving Messi but will say pit bulls are inherently dangerous. They aren't, if you treat them right and love them, they act the same way back.

@@lucyinthesky4682 You may be right, but you can't tell me going to a public space with a wild fucking animal like a puma is not a huge safety hazard to everyone around them- it doesn't matter how well behaved or trained it is(Messi is very well trained+behaved) but at the end of the day it's an wild animal and a 100lb+ cat can do A LOT OF damage.

Messi is such an amazing creature, he almost seems to know that he is famous. And it is remarkable how calm he remains when in public, letting everyone pet him without even so much as a growl. Hope he enjoyed the movie, he certainly appeared to be enjoying the special attention he was getting; and a great choice of a film to take him to. Saw that one with my kids, and they both loved it.
