In all of my 4 to 5 years that I'm watching you I've never seen Messi reacting this way. Sure there were times he was offended/angry at dad but he quickly returned to normal. Here I can only guess that Messi was deeply offended Sasha left him, and he had enough so he decided to punish by being cold. Another possibility- He was just not in a mood for anything or anyone. Это нормально. У котов в особенности, очень сильная привязанность и они так же в отличии от кошек, могут обижаться на долгое отсутствие хозяина. Когда я оставил своего кота на две недели уезжая на сессию, мне рассказали, что он неделю спал возле двери. Когда я вернулся в первую очередь увидев меня он зашипел, отвернулся и ушел. Только через час вышел и мы нормально поздоровались. Ну запитал чуток, с кем не бывает)

Sometimes a change in a pet parents routine (particularly in the morning) will trigger fears of being taken somewhere i.e. the dreaded vet. I know with my 4 cats they react cautiously if I get ready to leave the house earlier than usual. Hiding, keeping a safe distance from me and eyes/ears on full alert just in case I try to snatch them up for a necessary car ride. They also have their own communication system to warn each other that Mom seems "sketchy" today. Maybe Sasha leaving right after breakfast triggered some fear as he checked his daily to do list and found nothing but a relaxing day on his cat calendar. Messi has nothing but love for both of you but saw something that signaled an interruption in his plans. This behavior heartbreaking for the parents when it's unfounded but just another clue to just how intuitive these wonderful creatures are.
