Part 2 Then Sasha and Masha take a walk around the pool area and the fire pit explaining what’s left to be done and how beautiful it all going to look. Messi emerges and says, “Hello everyone!” Sasha and Masha are excited about upcoming changes, making plans about how it's all going to be decked up, and how they going to have a pool furniture, and they're going to have an extra step from their French doors out to the terrace; they are also going to refresh the house paint from the south side of the house. They are very excited. Meanwhile Messi has found edible grass on the left side of the house and is enjoying the grass. 😊 Then Sasha shows the fire pit/hearth place. They saw the picture on the internet and decided to have it in their yard. It all happened due to the second plot that they bought had a weird shape, they purchased it only because their water well was located on that plot. Nothing good could've come out of that but it turned out to be the perfect place for the fire pit. And the running place for the cats, its length is about 70 meters. The fire pit is going to be below the ground, then around it there will be some benches. it's going to be very cozy and very cute. Question: we have as scratching post for a cat but the cat refuses to use it. How to make our cat to use the scratching posts instead of the furniture? S: it's all because you failed to teach your cat to use the scratching post. I apologize if I sound like I'm lecturing you, but I stress over and over again -- if you invest enough time in your cat, then you won't have any problems with your cat. We talked about it in detail a few streams ago. If you go back maybe two or three weeks, you will find the information about how to figure out what type of scratching post your cat would like; vertical versus horizontal, does it need catnip or it doesn't; all those good things that I was talking about during those steams. Also, you will have to teach your cat that this is his/her thing, and the couch and the furniture are your things. We know a cat can understand where is his or her property and where is not his or her property. Sasha goes into lengthy description of their views on house design. People compliment a lot about their house, and they really love it. They put a lot of thought into making their house a lovely and adorable place as you can see it every week. They didn't use help of any designer. And it's not to offend the designers as a trade or a profession. Their house reflects their personality and they felt they didn't need help from anybody else; they decorated their house the way they wanted. If you hire a designer to do interior design of any place, the place will always bear a sign or a trademark of that designer. And that would interfere with the personality of people who live in that house. Because when you visit somebody's house, you always can see a piece of that person’s soul, a state of mind. You can identify the places in the house that are most loved. The same applies to any designer's work. A designer would leave kind of a signature mark on every design regardless whether he or she wants it or not. They didn't want that to be the case. Again, please designers don't take it as an offense, that is just our point of view.

Part 3 Question. Yesterday you mentioned that you were without power and without water. Could you tell us why? S: yes, yesterday we had power outage, it wasn't planned but it was done by the service company and it lasted 12 hours, from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Our water well operates on power so when the power went out, our water well stopped working as well. Thank God we have a generator and were able to use it. The generator used about 15 liters of gasoline but it's OK, it's all worth it, and we had power all day long. Masha reads a comment from a subscriber-The Tiger Den channel had an open house day today. The subscriber thanks Sasha and Masha for introducing her to the Kim family. Sasha shows the hammock that he installed in Gerda’s enclosure. He really likes it and he believes that Gerda likes it too. Gerda approves Sasha’s conclusions. Question of the day. S: I will use the same format that we've used for the past two streams. I really liked that format. I'm going to give you 4 interesting facts about an animal, and you will give us a correct answer. Today we will be talking about a fish. 1. This fish can spend up to 10 minutes on the surface of water, meaning breathing the air. A side note-a regular fish can do this only about 10 seconds without harming itself. 2. This fish doesn't have scales. 3. This fish cannot be caught by a fishing pole. 4. If human being touches this fish, that will lead to losing consciousness. Masha suggested to narrow the area where this fish lives, to make it easier and define the area of its habitat-whether it lives in salty or freshwater. S: I will narrow it even further, this fish lives in Amazon. Is that a piranha? S: No, it's not a piranha. However, this fish harmed more victims including humans than a piranha. It’s an electric eel. S: yes, it's an electric eel. Meanwhile Messi is in a future flowerbed in the construction site. Please read about electric eel here Electric eel | Smithsonian's National Zoo (si.edu) Sasha talks about electric eel at length saying that this fish indeed is very dangerous and very aggressive. That's why it has many victims. People at the stream are impressed with Sasha’s knowledge and tell him that. Sasha says that he doesn't consider his knowledge very deep because it's nothing in comparison to his grandpa and his father. Unfortunately, both are no longer alive, but he remembers their intellectual conversations and discussions. People are concerned about Messi’s and Gerda’s safety when the pool is completed and there is water in the pool. They are afraid that the animals would jump into the pool and may drown. S&M: Animals are very smart and besides they can swim. It doesn't mean that they necessarily will jump into the water in the pool. Besides the pool will be with the safeguard, it won't be too easy for animals to get into the pool. Please stop looking at the things when they are not ready yet, because you cannot picture the complete project and we know how it will be and we know that it will be safe for our animals. You know that we take safety of Messi and Gerda very seriously.

Part 4 Question: you expressed your desire to have a map on the wall and then you mentioned that somebody promised to send this map to you. Do you have it by now? S: oh yes! A Map! Yes, we do have it! Let me show it to you! It was quite a challenge to mount it on the wall. It took me two days to attach it to the wall. The problem is that the islands are being attached in specific places and you really have to be very careful not to ruin the scale of the map. The next few minutes Sasha and Masha spent by the map proudly showing the islands, the countries, the craftmanship of the map. It's a work of art. It's the largest size of the map this company offers, it's three by two meters. Now the guys can have flags of the countries posted on the map identifying the locations where they have subscribers or, better to say, places where Messi is loved. S: to my surprise I made a few discoveries while mounting this map. It turns out that I forgot geography a little bit and New Zealand and Malaysia they kind of didn't have a clear place on the map in my head. Now I know geography much better 😊 The company made a special logo for this map with the picture of Messi with the name of the channel “I am Puma” and the motto in Latin “Uniting countries and continents.” (translator’s note-Messi’s job is Goodwill Ambassador. He refers to the well-known examples when people brought foreign species to Australia for example, and now the continents where those species were not local and how they damaged the biological structure of the area. On his island ideally, he would love to preserve the way how the things are in its natural way. Some subscribers comment, “Hey, we are two million subscribers! If everyone donates just three bucks that would mean you will have $6 million! Your dream is very reachable! S: Oh, in no way I'm asking for anything! I'm just sharing my dreams with you. Guys please don't take me wrong. I'm not the one who needs help I'm just saying that I have a dream that would cost about $5 million. Oh, literally I'm not the one who needs help. However, there is story about two panhandlers-I saw it on TV, it was a social experiment. Two panhandlers are sitting side by side. One is holding a sign, “please help me! have no money, can't buy food.” The other one’s holding a sign, “please give me money--I need to pay for my Mercedes-Benz.” And the second guy had more money at the end of the day than the first one. People didn’t not trust the first one thinking that he has no money and he's going to maybe to buy booze at the end of the day. And the other guy was saying that he needed money to get his car back. It meant he was having hard times financially but he really would jump back on his feet if he gets some help. It's an unexplainable outcome of this story, almost a paradoxical one. People who gave money to the guy with the car tried to justify their decision why they helped to that guy though it was obvious that the first guy needed money more than the other one. Mysterious ways how human mind works. Sasha and Masha are looking at pins that symbolize flags of the countries to be pinned to the map. Finland got the first flag. Sasha asks not to judge him for not knowing all flags. S: I apologize that I don’t know all flags. I understand that you live in your country, and you know your flag. But I don’t. Please help me with the flags. Comment. Sasha, keep dreaming, dream big, and your dreams will come true. S: I know that it's very important to have a dream. Right now, my hero is Elon Musk. He belongs to that type of people who leave their name in history, the one who change the world. Elon Musk changes the world factually; he is not the one who is writing new laws and then some other things. He invents things that change the world. He strives for the greater good. But he is simply a human being. So, it means we all start at the same starting point. The rest of your life depends on your ambitions and desires. And for me such a person of influence at this point of my life is Elon Musk. I follow his life; I watch him on TV with pleasure whenever I can. I follow his projects. I like him a lot.
