That cat has a tremendous amount of loyalty for her Dad. I have seen him rough house with this cat and the cat is so patient with him. ❤ This cat obviously does not care for water. 😮

It's because he's been brought up to be a house cat. In the wild, cougars swim all the time. I grew up on an island, which has a lot of smaller islands around, and they swim between them. Messi is definitely cute though. :)

@@akinpaws The island I grew up on is not that big. It's forested, mountains and FULL of wildlife. There's a rabbit under every bush and tree. There are also hundreds of cougars. The smaller islands are very close, which is why it makes the waters lovely and warm in the summer for swimming; it's protected from the open seas...I digress; the cougars, bears and wolves travel between all the islands per the norm. They fish, they hunt - they have adapted, which is what animals do. They live in a lush environment where paddling to a nearby island is their normal for toodling around.

Ирина Говоровская Это уже далеко не котёнок, ему 6 лет уже 😊. Многие прочили ему агрессию ближе к взрослой жизни. Вот только ему самому об этом сказать забыли 😊. Он и не знает, что оказывается он должен быть агрессивным хищником 😊. И предпочитает быть обычным домашним котом.

Messi is so gentle and patient. On the few occasions I've had to bathe my cat, she had the claws out IMMEDIATELY when she saw the water, scratched me up good and proper trying to escape. Messi wanted to get out of the water just as badly, but was careful not to hurt Papa doing it 🥰🥰🥰

Ahh ever since I started watching Messi all I want is a Messi of my own. Big cats are just larger versions of house cats. He clearly loves them and thinks of them as “hairless family cats” because he goes out of his way not to hurt them even when he’s uncomfortable

We don't see what goes on when they aren't making the videos. Just about anything could be happening: extra trainers, people with weapons or disciplinary, pain-inflicting devices, stun guns, etc. Or Messi is a highly intelligent, emotionally sensitive puma.

Due the change in broadcast schedule, the video arrives when I'm still at work👩💻💻📞. But I can't wait to get home to watch🤗 ... I couldn't help but take a look at it but it's not easy when working in the same office as his (her) boss🤷♀️😂 . His paws were so cute stretching out, searching for the ground. Poor baby. I don't think he's going to get any fonder of swimming. He was heading toward the boat. I wonder if he was remembering their boat ride. "Dad, if you must go out into the water, let's bring a floor with us."

Cats instinctively hate swimming. It is cruel and exploitive to try to force him to do something he dislikes just to make a video!

Sweet little bunny Messi, well most cats dislike water with some exception. It would be funny to see him with Sasha on a paddle boat out on that water. He really wanted to be with daddy but did not like the water, he loves his daddy so much it's adorable! You are so fortunate to have that much love!!!!!
